 This will be the 4th annual Resolution Ride, or not?  We will be starting from the Cottage Lake Park in  Woodinville near Safeway at intersection of Avondale and Woodinville Duvall Rd and will flirt with Avondale and nearby roads, circling around Marymoor and back to Cottage Lake Park.  Come prepared to share your resolutions for 2017 and how that is working for you so far.  We will park in the first parking lot of the main entrance off Woodinville Duvall Rd.

This ride will help you prepare for the Chilly Hilly Ride on Sunday, Feb 26th. We will start from Farrel-McWhirter Park in Redmond on Redmond Rd between Novelty Hill Rd and NE116th. We will head towards NE116th, zig-zag on it and then skirt English Hill, heading back down towards NE165th/Avondale and climbing again in the Redmond Ridge area, stopping for a break and then back to Farrel-McWhirter Park.  Restrooms and water should be within main park unless closed. Otherwise we can stop at PCC at corner of NE116th and Avondale.

Starting from the Loehmann's Plaza at the Starbucks near QFC, we will follow the I-90 Trail into Seattle, stop for cinnamon rolls at High Point Cafe in the Madrona area, and then zigzag back to the I-90 Trail and Loehmann's Plaza. There are restrooms at QFC or Starbucks nearby.

Strawberry Festival Ride - Sunday June 25, 2017 - 10am

Come join us for a ride to the Strawberry Festival at Crossroads Park in Bellevue. Enjoy yummy strawberry shortcake and lots of other festival fun. We will be mostly following the 25 mile route for Flying Wheels. Cue sheet:

SPOKES Goes on a Forked Ride 2017 - Saturday July 29, 2017 - 10am

We will start from the Oliver Quigley Park on SR 202 in Fall City and then head up to Snoqualmie Falls and the back roads between Snoqualmie and North Bend. We will break at George's Cafe in North Bend and then head back to Fall City.

3 Ferries Ride - Saturday Aug 19th 2017 - 9am

SPOKES will start from the Fauntleroy Ferry, boarding the 9:25a.m. to Southworth. Then we will ride to Port Orchard and have lunch at the Farmers Market. After sating our hunger, we will board the foot ferry to Bremerton. Then catch the next ferry to Bremerton and take in the ferry to Seattle. From there we will follow the Alki trail to Lincoln Park in West Seattle. Parking is available in Lincoln Park on on the street. Be sure to come 30minutes early (9:15a.m.) and have cash or credit card for the fare: $7.35.

Fall City-Carnation Romp - Sunday Sept 24th - 2017 - 10am

SPOKES will ride on country roads out of Fall City, snagging a bit of the Snoqualmie Valley Trail and lunch in Carnation. Then rolling through MacDonald Park, crossing the Tolt and Snoqualmie Rivers and back to Olive Quigley Park in Fall City. We will have viewed the emerging Fall colors while passing through some pretty wetlands.

Ride Description: 
Join us for a social ride at 10 - 12 MPH on the flats on bike friendly streets and some of Seattle's commuter trails from Gas Works Park, through Fremont, across the Locks, with a loop through Discovery Park and along the rail transportation yards to the Olympic Sculpture Park and back. It's a 17 mile loop with lots to see, hear, smell, and pedal! Sorry, no Fremont Troll stop this time!

There are a couple hills, but we ride them at our own pace and always regroup at the top. Restrooms are available at start, at the Locks, and at our turnaround point. Please arrive in time to be ready to leave at 10:00 a.m.  Bring a snack for the turnaround point at the Olympic Sculpture Garden.
